ShadowDragon and DeliverFund Partner to Catch Human Traffickers

Cheyenne, Wyoming – December 15, 2016

ShadowDragon, a company that develops specialized digital investigations technology, and DeliverFund, a nonprofit dedicated to disrupting sex trafficking markets are actively partnering to track criminals and free victims.

Human sex trafficking is a real and ugly crime in the U.S. with networks present in every state, and exploiting an estimated 100,000 minors each year, per the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. DeliverFund is reducing this number by combining uniquely qualified personnel with today’s best technologies – like those offered by ShadowDragon — and then leveraging them in new ways to reach and rescue the victims of human trafficking.

In 2015, ShadowDragon provided DeliverFund with two of their investigation tools – OIMonitor and SocialNet – and online investigation consulting services. These helped to solve a particularly disturbing case in New Mexico involving a known trafficker and a 22-year-old girl.

“It took us about 100 hours of investigation time and it was gratifying to finally lock this guy up. Monitoring the web and mapping social media with ShadowDragon tools enabled us to identify and follow the trafficker, and develop intelligence that helped Law Enforcement convict him,” explained Nic McKinley CEO and founder of DeliverFund. “I’ve been exposed to many technologies working for the CIA and the Air Force. These are the best tools out there that I’ve found that support a strong, legally defensible intelligence process.”

For Daniel Clemens, Founder and CEO of ShadowDragon, the partnership with DeliverFund is a natural fit. “We developed OIMonitor and SocialNet at our sister company Packet Ninjas while solving some complex international cases involving bank fraud and corporate espionage. ShadowDragon was created to sell these tools to investigation teams in all industries and give them a digital advantage against the bad guys.”

ShadowDragon will continue to provide specialized digital tools as a partner with the DeliverFund International Human Trafficking Analysis Center (iHTAC). The iHTAC comprises a consortium of partner companies committed to creating solutions that will help DeliverFund disrupt modern slave trade. iHTAC will also serve as the central collection and dissemination platform for human trafficking intelligence.

Daniel Clemens went on to explain that DeliverFund’s successful use of digital intelligence technologies is a perfect example of how law enforcement can leverage the open and dark web to gain critical tactical, strategic and operational advantages over criminals.
